Who is the best of the best in Philippines? If you think you have what it takes to be a champion of hand soldering, then bring your skills to the IPC Hand Soldering Competition at Manufacturing Technology World 2019!

The competition will be held during Manufacturing Technology World 2019 located at SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, Philippines.

Over three days, participants will compete against each other to build a functional electronics assembly within a 50-minute time limit. Assemblies will be judged on soldering in accordance with IPC-A-610G Class 3 criteria, the speed at which the assembly was produced and overall electrical functionality of the assembly. IPC-A-610 Master Instructors will serve as judges.

Prizes

Cash awards will be given to the winner and two runner-ups.

The winner will receive one Solder Station from JBC and also get the chance to compete at the 2019 IPC Hand Soldering World Championship at Munich, Germany on 12-15 November 2019.

IPC reserves the right to select participants and final explanation.
